I'm Jason Gong. I've been around AI for a while. Ran growth at Kite, an AI coding assistant many years before ChatGPT. Kite was acquired by Affirm. Founded Firezone through YC W22. Most recently, ran GTM at GrowthX, which grew to $12M in revenue in 9 months. There I helped companies like Lovable, Webflow, Surge AI, and others build growth machines with AI. I also work with startups on their GTM and positioning.

I started Saturday Robot because most of the writing about AI and work is coming from the outside. Analysts, commentators, people synthesizing other people's findings. The operator perspective is mostly missing. What does it actually look like when you try to use these tools for your job? What breaks? What compounds? I wanted a place to figure that out in public.
Saturday is when you build what you want. The robot is what you're building. Something that didn't exist on Friday and works by Sunday.
