Work with me
Zero to One
I help companies find the growth levers that work and turn them into a repeatable system the team keeps running.
A bit of background

I've spent my career at the intersection of growth, marketing, and product for B2B SaaS companies, as both a leader and a founder. I led growth at Kite, an AI coding assistant from before ChatGPT that reached 7M developers before it was acquired. At Affirm, I led growth for merchant top of funnel and the mobile app. I founded Firezone through YC W22, and for a brief moment it was Reddit and HN's favorite corporate VPN. Most recently I ran GTM at GrowthX, where we grew to $12M in 9 months building AI content engines for companies like Lovable, Surge AI, Ramp, and Vercel.
A few of the companies I've led growth at or worked directly with:

How we work together
Most companies think from first principles when they build product, then forget all of it the moment they turn to growth. They run ads, churn out SEO content, and spam outbound, and none of it compounds or builds on the rest. The companies that win build a flywheel instead.
So every engagement comes down to the same thing: find the few growth levers that actually work for you, then build a system around them your team can keep running long after I'm gone. Growth, built the way you'd build product.
A few things I'm usually working toward:
Build the first go-to-market engine
for companies graduating from founder-led growth
Build the first go-to-market engine
for companies graduating from founder-led growth
The founder is doing most of the closing and the awareness. We take what's working in founder-led selling and turn it into repeatable systems. Positioning, messaging, outbound content, and whatever else will deliver early wins.
Outcome: What's already working, turned into a repeatable system the team keeps running
Find and exploit the double down channel
for companies looking for product channel fit
Find and exploit the double down channel
for companies looking for product channel fit
Most startups get outsized returns by going deep on one channel. We help you find the right one for your company, invest hard in it, and align the rest of the GTM behind the bet.
Outcome: One proven channel driving most of your growth, with the rest of GTM behind it
Create a content-driven growth flywheel
for growth stage startups
Create a content-driven growth flywheel
for growth stage startups
We build a content system that wins SEO and AEO. Most programs plateau because they treat content as a standalone publishing exercise. The winners connect it: sales calls feed articles, articles feed outbound, customer questions feed topic maps. We build that system with you.
Outcome: Content that compounds, feeding SEO, AEO, and outbound
Build a community
for founder-led brands ready to own an audience
Build a community
for founder-led brands ready to own an audience
The strongest growth I've seen comes from an owned community: people who show up because they trust you, on a channel you control. We figure out the format, the cadence, and the reasons people keep coming back, then build the engine that grows it.
Outcome: An owned audience that feeds every other channel

Build and coach the growth team
for teams scaling growth past the founders
Build and coach the growth team
for teams scaling growth past the founders
As growth becomes a team, I help you hire the right people and level up the ones you have. I assess strengths and gaps, run the hiring process for growth and marketing roles, sit on the interview panel, and coach the team as they ramp.
Outcome: A growth team that runs without you
Book a call
I've been a founder and a first marketing hire, so I know what it's like to be the one figuring this out. Find 30 minutes with me. I usually just start brainstorming and helping right there on the call, so don't be shy.

How I'd build an AEO program in four weeks
Writing / playbook
Once you've found a channel that works, AEO is worth real investment. The two things that stay true no matter how the tactics change, and the order I'd build the program in.

Why AEO won't fix your early-stage growth
Writing / POV
AI visibility is sold as the magic pill for startup growth. For most early-stage companies it's the wrong place to focus, and here's how I'd find the channel to bet on instead.
