Call for a founding GTM Specialist at Saturday Robot
I run Saturday Robot, a fractional head-of-growth practice for Series A companies. I help founders turn early wins into repeatable growth systems across positioning, messaging, outbound, and content. I'm hiring a junior, scrappy GTM specialist to work alongside me and help those systems run.
Why work with me
AI and market forces in general are changing GTM in three ways.
- Repetitive work that used to be the anchor of most junior roles is being trivialized by AI agents steered by good prompts and taste. Your job is now building systems that keep campaigns running.
- You'll learn the foundations of good GTM deeply, then use whatever tools the work calls for. That expertise in the function and channel will keep paying off as the software changes.
- GTM is about understanding the needs, incentives, and behaviors of your customers, and the industry you operate in. Forming good intuition and understanding there is the only way to cut through now unbearably noisy channels to create value for them to earn the right to sell them something.
What I'm offering is the opportunity to learn how to be world class across all three by working with companies just setting the foundation after their Series A/B.
My work is to help founders transition from one-off sales or campaigns to creating their very first growth system. You'll help me build that for them.
A bit of background
LinkedIn ↗I've spent my career across growth, marketing, and product for B2B SaaS companies, as both a leader and a founder. I led growth at Kite, an AI coding assistant from before ChatGPT that reached 7M developers before it was acquired. At Affirm, I led growth for merchant top of funnel and the mobile app.
I founded Firezone through YC W22, and for a brief moment it was Reddit and HN's favorite corporate VPN. Most recently I ran GTM at GrowthX, where we grew to $12M in 9 months building AI content engines for companies like Lovable, Surge AI, Ramp, and Vercel.

What you'll do
- Help turn a client's goals into campaigns: research the audience, draft outreach and offer copy, assemble target lists, and launch small experiments.
- Own the day-to-day follow-through. Check live work, read replies, keep clean notes, surface what is working, and make sure promising conversations keep moving.
- Create simple templates, trackers, and automations that make recurring work easier and more reliable.
- Try new tools and methods, share what you learn, and help improve the playbook we use across clients.
Requirements
- You can point to something you started, built, sold, organized, or pushed through when the path was unclear.
- You show grit. A failed first attempt sends you back for another thoughtful try.
- You are entrepreneurial and comfortable finding the next useful step inside an ambiguous project.
- You write clearly, notice details, and follow through on small commitments.
- You are comfortable with spreadsheets, modern AI tools, and learning unfamiliar software as you go.
- You are early in your career and hungry for hands-on reps across several fast-moving companies.
What a typical day looks like
- Check live campaigns, read the replies, and move the conversations that need a thoughtful answer.
- Research a market, build a focused list, or draft the next round of campaign copy.
- Launch a small experiment and watch closely enough to understand what the response is telling us.
- Tighten a tracker, template, or workflow, then document what the next person should know.
Practical details
- 20-30 hours per week, with room to go full-time.
- Remote.
- Series A B2B companies, mostly AI products.
