Call for a founding Operations Specialist at Saturday Robot
I run Saturday Robot, a small GTM practice that works across several Series A companies at once. My weeks span client projects, writing, hiring, research, and the logistics around all of them. I'm hiring an early-career operations specialist to work closely with me and make sure the important things keep moving.
Why work with me
The role covers project coordination, research, scheduling, and executive-assistant support. You might prep a client meeting in the morning, research a new project before lunch, and close the follow-ups by the end of the day.
Saturday Robot is a small firm. You will see decisions up close, get the context behind them, and learn how one person serves several companies at once.
Some tasks repeat every week. Others will arrive half-formed. I will give you the context and the bar, and I will expect you to find the next useful step, communicate clearly, and close the loop.
A bit of background
LinkedIn ↗I've spent my career across growth, marketing, and product for B2B SaaS companies, as both a leader and a founder. I led growth at Kite, an AI coding assistant from before ChatGPT that reached 7M developers before it was acquired. At Affirm, I led growth for merchant top of funnel and the mobile app.
I founded Firezone through YC W22, and for a brief moment it was Reddit and HN's favorite corporate VPN. Most recently I ran GTM at GrowthX, where we grew to $12M in 9 months building AI content engines for companies like Lovable, Surge AI, Ramp, and Vercel.
A few of the companies I've led growth at or worked directly with:

What you'll do
- Turn meetings and messages into clear follow-ups, owners, and due dates.
- Prepare client calls and projects by gathering context, organizing documents, and researching the people or companies involved.
- Help manage my calendar, inbox, travel, and occasional personal logistics.
- Coordinate candidates, contractors, vendors, events, and other people who need a quick answer or a next step.
- Keep trackers, checklists, and recurring processes current. Improve them when the same problem appears twice.
- Handle the important tasks that come with a small firm, including the ones that arrive without a tidy category.
Requirements
- You can point to something you started, built, sold, organized, or pushed through when the path was unclear.
- Your system for staying organized is strong enough that people trust your follow-through.
- You show grit. When a plan breaks or someone goes quiet, you keep working the problem and send an update.
- You ask questions early and share progress as you go.
- You write clearly, use good judgment with private information, and know when a decision needs me.
- You are early in your career and hungry to learn. You can pick up new software and AI tools as you go.
What a typical day looks like
- Start with the priorities for the day and turn them into a short plan.
- Prepare a client call, gather the right documents, and make sure I walk in with the context I need.
- Turn the call into follow-ups, schedule what comes next, and keep each owner moving.
- Research a candidate, company, tool, trip, or question that came up during the week.
- Improve one checklist, tracker, or recurring process so the next pass is easier.
Practical details
- 20-30 hours per week, with room to go full-time.
- Remote.
- Saturday Robot, client work, and occasional personal logistics.
